YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Become part of our team at our Huningue site - to strengthen our team we are looking for a Site Manager (m/f/d) with the following tasks for the next possible date:
- Maintain a high level of operational excellence and reach monthly production level on time and quality
- Ensure compliance with the legislation and the requirements of the DREAL, the prefecture, the water agency (and any other regulatory requirement) in terms of safety, hygiene, and environment
- Support CapEx projects
- Optimize site costs
- Collaborate with stakeholders, in particular the Supply Chain department on production needs and the development of the annual schedule
- Maintain relationships with other C&E sites and other Sun Chemical sites in France and the Basel cluster to transfer good practices, create opportunities for staff, exchange ideas and develop team cohesion between sites
- Ensure compliance with the labor code, the chemical industries collective agreement, the internal regulations and the DIC group Code of conduct
- Promote continuous improvement through rewarding new ideas, training staff and transferring best practices
- Be the main interlocutor of the Huningue town hall, the prefecture, the other local authorities, “France Chimie” and the press
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed master's degree in chemistry or a natural sciences PhD
- Professional leadership experience of min. 10 years in production/technical projects
- Fluent in French and English, German is a plus
- Experienced handling of MS-Office applications
- Very good communication skills for successful cooperation in international/diverse teams
