THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced MRP Controller to manage materials planning and production scheduling, ensuring the continuous availability of raw materials and the efficient execution of daily production. This role plays a key part in optimizing the supply chain, reducing inventory costs, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting production teams to meet customer deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan material requirements based on production plans, orders, and daily production needs.
- Manage inventory levels, including minimum stocks, safety stocks, and warehouse data accuracy to avoid shortages or excess.
- Ensure continuous material availability while minimizing inventory costs and optimizing warehouse space.
- Coordinate with internal and external suppliers, managing deliveries, resolving supply issues, and handling STO order conversions.
- Execute raw material purchasing through SAP requests, including incident resolution and alignment with cost-saving policies.
- Track vendor performance through daily inbound monitoring, weekly confirmations, and monthly safety stock reviews.
- Analyze material status and future needs using corporate systems and supply chain data.
- Maintain strong communication with production, logistics, purchasing, and other plants (codes, batches, delivery times, urgent shipments).
- Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain, inventory, and production flows.
- Adjust production planning during unexpected events (rush orders, shortages, manufacturing issues) to meet customer deadlines.
THE PROFILE:
- Extensive experience in purchasing and supply chain roles, ideally within Supply Chain or Category Leader–structured organizations.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced SAP user (MD04, material master, reporting, order conversion).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) with Power BI as a plus.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, able to anticipate shortages and react quickly to issues.
- Comfortable working under pressure, handling crises, and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to map, analyze, and improve processes.
- Knowledge of production processes and converting customer demand into production planning.
- Ability to build tools for purchasing control, forecasting, lead-time review, safety stock management, and vendor follow-up.
- Experienced in daily communication with vendors and production teams, optimizing purchasing cycles; MS Teams user.
- Flexibility to travel (only when necessary).
