YOUR TASKS

 

Become a part of our European Centre of Excellence at our location in Madrid – we are responsible for managing Sun Chemical’s credit and collection processes for a portfolio of customers. The role will work within the Credit and Risk team and closely with the Customer Service team, Sales Organization, Cash Application Team and external customers to keep overdue debts to a minimum. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Credit Collector (m/f/d) with the following responsibilities:

 

  • Reduction of overdue debt of assigned customer portfolio
  • Managing daily worklist and scheduled activities in the collection tool
  • Reviewing blocked orders within a given timescale and initiating follow up with the relevant parties
  • Liaising with the customer service team and other internal teams to resolve disputes/claims
  • Initiating customer credit limits review when needed using the corporate credit approval form
  • Allocating open payments and prepare proposals
  • Initiating write off and refund process
  • Supporting month end close reporting

 


 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Minimum Bachelor ‘s degree required
  • Previous experience in a comparable role in a multinational, B2B environment
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written, proficiency in Spanish and French
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience in SAP and in a collection tool is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a customer and service-oriented attitude
