Sun Chemical is hiring!  We are seeking Production Operators, Maintenance Mechanics and Traffic Techs to join our team at the Amelia location.  Come out for our open interview date on

June 16th, 2026 from 9:00am-2:00pm, Address: 3922 Bach Buxton Rd Amelia, OH 45102

Production Operator – 12 Hr Day/Night (4/4), Amelia, OH
Summary: Support ink and pigment manufacturing through material handling, equipment operation, and quality checks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and material equipment
• Prepare and weigh batch materials
• Monitor production equipment
• Follow batch instructions accurately
• Move finished goods to storage
• Maintain clean work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or pass assessment
• Ability to follow instructions independently
• Lift 25–50+ lbs; stand/walk for long periods
• Comfortable in industrial environments
• Forklift certification preferred

Traffic Technician – Day Shift (4/4), Amelia, OH
Summary: Move materials and finished goods safely across warehouse and plant.

Responsibilities:

• Stage materials and finished goods
• Load/unload trucks; pull orders
• Complete paperwork accurately
• Follow safety procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or pass assessment
• Strong communication, math, and organization skills

Maintenance Mechanic – Night Shift (4/4), Cincinnati, OH
Summary: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Repair equipment, utilities, and buildings
• Inspect systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC)
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Report issues to maintenance team

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Lift up to 55 lbs; stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, and industrial systems
