Are you curious about how products are made and love hands-on science? We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our friendly and innovative team at Sun Chemical. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a scientific mind who enjoys practical work and wants to build experience in a lab setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting sample-making activities for our Digital UV Ink development team
• Perform lab tasks and help maintain equipment and protocols.
• Working closely with experienced scientists to develop your understanding of UV Ink Chemistry.
• This role is focused on sampling, testing, and learning; perfect for someone who’s recently finished school or college and is looking to take their first step into the world of science and industry.

What We’re Looking For

• GCSEs (especially in science subjects); A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or similar are a bonus.
• A genuine interest in science and/or chemistry.
• A methodical and curious mindset; enjoying solving problems and working with your hands.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• A team player who’s eager to learn and grow.
