The Role

Thanks to our innovative products and great team – we are proud that the business is continuing to grow, we now have an opportunity for an entry-level Technical Support Engineer to join our professional IT team based in Midsomer Norton.

An entry-level IT position where you will be given excellent training and mentoring with a view to progressing the role. The opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing smooth operation of local business activities. Technical training provided to give opportunities to become involved in wider-ranger projects.




  • To provide excellent IT support services to South West sites.
  • Ensuring that Corporate IT policies are adhered to and maintained.
  • Provisioning smooth operation of all IT functions.
  • Providing a strong platform to enable and enhance business activities.

Qualifications / Experience Critical for the job Holder



  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise tickets based upon business criticality.
  • Interpersonal and communications skills – Ability to communicate with all levels of the business from shop-floor to management.
  • Full driving license – Travel between two sites will be required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (both desktop and server based)
  • Understanding of Local Area Networking experience (TCP/IP, Ethernet)
  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills
  • An understanding of hardware, software, networks, and systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems under pressure.
  • Clear communication, patience, and empathy to assist users with varying technical knowledge.
  • Translating complex technical jargon into understandable language.
  • Skills in system administration and ongoing maintenance of IT resources.
