At Aura, we’re passionate about empowering people through learning. As our Instructional Designer, you’ll craft engaging, impactful, and innovative learning experiences that help colleagues and clients thrive.
Your focus will include developing comprehensive training for our e-halo platform, ensuring internal and external users feel confident and capable. You’ll also take the lead on creating inspiring onboarding experiences, helping new team members integrate seamlessly into Aura’s culture.
By blending learning theory, creativity, and technology, you’ll shape solutions that drive growth, innovation, and collaboration across the organisation.
🎯 What You’ll Deliver
- Assess learner needs and align solutions with organisational goals.
- Design and develop engaging instructional materials, from curriculum maps to e-learning modules.
- Create compelling content (presentations, multimedia, interactive exercises) with subject matter experts.
- Harness the latest technologies (LMS, authoring tools, multimedia software) to enhance learning.
- Design assessments, measure outcomes, and refine learning strategies.
- Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Continuously review and improve instructional materials for clarity, accessibility, and impact.
- Build strong partnerships with SMEs, leaders, and learners, communicating progress and insights effectively.
- Stay curious: expand your expertise, share knowledge, and promote a culture of learning and innovation.

📚 Your Experience
Essential
- 5+ years’ experience in instructional design or curriculum development (corporate or non-profit preferred).
- Solid knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning principles.
- Skilled with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora) and LMS platforms.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) with sharp attention to detail.
- Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in learning design.
Desired
- Qualification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Experience with gamification, adaptive learning, or mobile-first solutions.
- Background in multimedia design (graphic design, video production, animation).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience working globally or across multicultural environments
