About the Role

Sun Chemical is seeking a Manager, Messaging Systems to lead the global administration, security, performance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise messaging and mobile device services. In this role, you will oversee Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 messaging, hybrid mail environments, email security, and mobile device management. You will lead a global technical team and partner with infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and external providers to deliver secure, resilient, and efficient communication services.

What You’ll Do

• Own and optimize Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 messaging services across hybrid, on-premises, and cloud environments.
• Maintain high availability, resilience, and performance while leading incident resolution and problem-management efforts.
• Strengthen email security through anti-spam, anti-phishing, encryption, threat protection, and authentication controls, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Oversee global mobile device administration, access policies, security standards, onboarding processes, and compliance requirements.
• Lead messaging, mobility, migration, integration, technology refresh, and service-improvement projects from planning through implementation.
• Partner with IT teams, business units, vendors, and service providers to understand requirements, manage risks, and resolve service concerns.
• Lead, coach, and develop global and offshore messaging support resources while setting priorities and promoting consistent service delivery.
• Use service metrics, incident trends, and stakeholder feedback to drive standardization, automation, reliability, security, and user satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation and support audit, risk, governance, retention, and compliance activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or other related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Exchange Manager, Messaging Manager, or IT Manager, including responsibility for staff, budgets, and projects.
• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and TCP/IP.
• Experience administering Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, hybrid messaging environments, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• At least 2 years of experience with the Microsoft 365 Administration Center, Microsoft IIS, and Apple iOS environments.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, email security technologies, and messaging authentication protocols.
• Experience managing mobile device platforms, access policies, and security requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams in global, offshore, or matrixed environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, incident management, service improvement, and audit or compliance support.
• Strong project management, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance operational priorities with project commitments and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Work Environment

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to support global operations and critical technology initiatives.
• Remote position based in the Eastern or Central time zone within the United States.
• Approximately 5-10% travel, including occasional international travel.
