About the Role

Sun Chemical is seeking a Messaging Systems and Mobility Analyst to help support our global messaging, collaboration, and mobile device environments. In this role, you will help administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the platforms that keep employees securely connected around the world.

Reporting to the Messaging Systems Manager, you will work with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, mobile device management platforms, email security technologies, and end-user mobility solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to build hands-on experience in enterprise messaging, mobile device management, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.

What You’ll Do

Messaging Administration and Support

• Assist with the administration and support of Microsoft Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises environments.

• Support Sun Chemical's hybrid Microsoft 365 messaging infrastructure.

• Monitor mail flow and perform message tracking investigations as required.

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts used for messaging administration and reporting.

• Administer Active Directory messaging-related objects, including:

• User mailboxes

• Shared mailboxes

• Contacts

• Distribution lists

• Mail-enabled security groups

• Support Azure AD Connect (DirSync) synchronization processes.

• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration activities including Exchange Online, Teams, Purview, Defender, and Intune.

• Respond to user incidents and service requests related to email, calendaring, and collaboration services.

• Follow established change management, operational, and support procedures.

Email Security and Compliance

• Support email security platforms including:

• SonicWall Email Security Gateway

• Trend Micro Deep Discovery Email Inspector (DDEI)

• Trend Micro Cloud App Security

• DMARC

• Assist in monitoring, identifying, and resolving email security threats including phishing, spoofing, malware, and spam attacks.

• Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to improve messaging security controls and incident response activities.

• Support Microsoft Purview compliance and retention initiatives.

• Assist with email investigations and security audits as required.

Mobility Administration and Support

• Support mobile device management operations using Ivanti Cloud MDM.

• Responsible for the ordering and billing of mobile devices in the United States.

• Assist with administration of Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense.

• Provision, configure, and support primarily iOS devices and selected Android devices.

• Support Apple Business Manager and supervised device enrolment processes.

• Assist users with mobile device setup, troubleshooting, security compliance, and device lifecycle activities.

• Maintain mobile device policies and security configurations in accordance with company standards.

Documentation and Communication

• Develop and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.

• Prepare and distribute user communications, outage notifications, and service announcements.

• Maintain accurate operational procedures and configuration documentation.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements.

Technology and Continuous Improvement

• Research and evaluate new messaging and mobility technologies.

• Assist with testing and implementation of new features, services, and platforms.

• Stay current with Microsoft 365, messaging security, and mobility technology trends.

• Participate in technology improvement projects and platform upgrades.

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.

• Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices.

• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, PowerShell, and Intune.

• Familiarity with email security platforms and foundational cybersecurity practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and customer-service skills.

• Ability to follow established change-management and operational procedures while contributing to continuous improvement.

Education and Experience

• One to three years of experience in IT support, messaging administration, mobility management, or related infrastructure technologies.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• PowerShell scripting or automation.

• Microsoft 365 administration.

• Mobile device management platforms.

• Apple Business Manager.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900).

• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate or another Microsoft messaging-related certification.

• CompTIA A+ or Network+.

• ITIL Foundation.

Work Schedule and Travel

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional schedule flexibility to support global business needs and critical technology initiatives.

• Approximately 5% to 10% travel, including occasional travel outside the United States.
