Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Hybrid)
Hours: 20-30 hours per week
Compensation: $20/hour

About This Opportunity

Join Sun Chemical's Global Treasury Operations (GTO), a dynamic shared service center supporting our worldwide operations across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate treasury while learning SAP, one of the industry's leading enterprise resource planning systems.

What You'll Do

As a Treasury Intern, you'll play a vital role in daily treasury operations, including:

• Posting bank statement transactions (incoming and outgoing)
• Working with global banking platforms and partners
• Assisting with financial reporting deliverables
• Supporting cash and debt reporting across all global regions
• Contributing to ad-hoc projects and special initiatives
• Learning the complexities of multinational corporate treasury operations

What We're Looking for

Education & Experience:

• Current undergraduate student majoring in Finance or Accounting (1st or 2nd year)
• Completion of at least one finance or accounting course
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP)
• Familiarity with financial statements

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion
• Strong computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Both team-oriented and independently motivated
• Highly motivated with desire to learn about corporate treasury

Work Environment:

• Schedule: Flexible based on your academic commitments
• Location: Hybrid work arrangement in Cincinnati, Ohio

Benefits:

This internship does not qualify for any company benefits, such as paid vacation, holidays, or health insurance; however, you will be eligible to enroll in the Sun Chemical 401(k) plan as a temporary employee.
