THE ROLE
The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations at the Gallarta plant, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working Monday to Friday at the production site in Gallarta.
- Supervise and coordinate production activities and personnel (50 employees) to achieve daily manufacturing targets.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor process and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with MRP, Technical, Warehouse, HR, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage operational incidents, reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits (quality, safety, environment).
- Train and guide production staff in procedures, safety, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate production, incident, and KPI reports.
THE PROFILE
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the chemical industry.
- Strong command of English (C1 level, spoken and written).
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel mandatory).
- Experience applying Lean manufacturing tools will be highly valued.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
- Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
