Sun Chemical is seeking a strategic and commercially astute Commercial Manager to lead our Specialities, Offset, Export, and Metal Decorating business segments in South Africa. This is a senior-level role with high visibility and impact, reporting directly to the Business Director Commercial.

About the Role

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust commercial strategy across key markets, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This includes pricing, contracts, margin improvement, and product management, while leading a team and collaborating across functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance across Offset, Export, Specialities, and Metal Decorating segments.
• Implement and maintain strategic plans aligned with business goals.
• Lead customer account management, ensuring delivery of value and service excellence.
• Identify and execute margin improvement initiatives.
• Review and enhance systems, processes, and product portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Lead and develop a commercial team, including remote staff.

What You’ll Bring

• Matric with post-matric qualifications preferred.
• Strong analytical background and commercial/technical experience in the ink or printing industry.
• Proven expertise in pricing and product management.
