Sun Chemical is seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Technical Service Representative (CTSR) to join our team in Gauteng. This role is central to driving commercial success, delivering technical excellence, and supporting continuous improvement across customer sites.
Purpose of the Role
To achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction by managing technical service delivery, driving improvement projects, and supporting EHS and 5S initiatives across the Gauteng region.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strong customer engagement.
- Lead business improvement initiatives across customer accounts and internal teams.
- Roll out and maintain 5S programs across Inplant and customer sites.
- Oversee EHS activities and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Coordinate regional project activities and represent the Customer Support function in internal and external forums.
- Provide technical support and solutions across ink technologies.
- Deliver accurate reporting and insights using tools like Excel and Word.
Skills & Experience
- Matric qualification with a technical sales background in the ink or printing industry.
- Experience with Liquid Inks, Metals, and other ink technologies.
- Proven ability in customer supply, support, and Inplant management.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
- Ability to analyse data, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships.
