About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MRP Controller to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring material requirements planning and smooth supply chain operations for our South African business. You will manage inventory levels, monitor inbound logistics, and maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners to guarantee timely material availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review MRP master data, including safety stock levels, on a monthly basis.
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight potential issues weekly (CPR report).
- Release requisitions to meet stock demand based on forecasts and safety stock levels.
- Manage inbound logistics and proactively alert stakeholders of any material delays.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal teams regarding supply chain issues.
Key Performance Indicators
- Safety compliance for self and others.
- Supply meets customer order and forecasted demand.
- Inventory levels maintained within agreed parameters.
- Effective management of inbound logistics processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
- Highly IT literate with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- A-level qualification in Mathematics or Sciences (or equivalent).
- Good understanding of ERP systems – SAP experience highly advantageous.
- Previous experience in material planning or supply chain management preferred.
