THE ROLE
Join our team as Technician (m/f/d) at our site in Karlstein close to Frankfurt am Main. This role involves providing technical support to both the sales department and the manufacturing plant for our high performance plastic materials DIC.PPS and Primef® . Additionally, the Technician will conduct experimental studies to support product developments assigned by DIC Japan. This includes tasks such as minor modifications of products and researching alternative raw materials.
- Production of product samples
- Sampling / molding trials for customers and at customer sites
- Material proposals based on customer requirement lists
- Implementation of test procedures to measure physical and chemical properties
- Management and evaluation of test results
- Maintenance of injection moulding machine and extruder
- Purchase of consumables
- Support of Sales Team in Customer Meetings in technical issues
- Communication with the Central Lab in Japan
YOUR PROFILE
- Studies as a Plastics engineer or similar experience, such as training as a toolmaker or general experience in the plastics and processing sector
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Strong team and communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel
