Fonctions et responsabilités
- Suivre les formules et recettes de production afin de fabriquer avec précision les encres et autres produits connexes.
- Faire fonctionner les mélangeurs et l’équipement connexe conformément aux procédures opérationnelles normalisées (PON/SOP).
- Remplir les produits finis dans des barils, seaux, contenants et tubes.
- Sélectionner, identifier et déplacer les matières premières et les produits finis destinés à la production ou à l’expédition aux clients.
- Soulever, charger et empiler de façon sécuritaire des seaux, contenants, sacs et autres matériaux pesant jusqu’à 20 kg.
- Utiliser les techniques de levage sécuritaires et l’équipement de manutention approprié pour déplacer des barils, des palettes et d’autres produits.
- Charger et décharger les camions de transport à l’aide d’un chariot élévateur, d’un transpalette ou de tout autre équipement approuvé.
- Remplir avec exactitude les documents requis liés à la production, à l’inventaire, à la qualité et à l’expédition, conformément aux exigences de l’entreprise et de la réglementation en vigueur.
- Respecter toutes les normes de santé, de sécurité, d’environnement et de qualité, y compris les exigences du SIMDUT.
- Communiquer efficacement avec les membres de l’équipe et les superviseurs concernant les activités de production et les enjeux opérationnels.
- Respecter toutes les politiques, procédures et normes opérationnelles de l’entreprise.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe assignée.
Compétences et qualifications requises
- Être en bonne condition physique et capable de soulever, transporter, tirer et manipuler des charges lourdes de façon répétitive tout au long du quart de travail.
- Être en mesure de travailler dans un environnement de fabrication au rythme soutenu tout en maintenant les normes de qualité et de productivité.
- Faire preuve d’autonomie, de fiabilité et être capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision.
- Démontrer un excellent dossier d’assiduité et de ponctualité.
- Posséder de bonnes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite.
- Avoir des connaissances de base en informatique.
- Une expérience préalable dans un environnement manufacturier ou de production similaire constitue un atout.
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent, un atout.
- Certification valide de cariste (chariot élévateur), un atout.
- Connaissance ou certification relative au Transport des marchandises dangereuses (TMD), un atout.
- Connaissance générale du SIMDUT.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow production formulas and recipes to accurately manufacture inks and related products.
- Operate mixers and associated equipment in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Fill finished products into drums, pails, cans, and tubes.
- Select, label, and transport raw materials and finished goods for production or customer shipment.
- Safely lift, load, and stack pails, cans, bags, and other materials weighing up to 20 kg.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment to move drums, pallets, and other products.
- Load and unload transport trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or other approved equipment.
- Complete required production, inventory, quality, and shipping documentation accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including WHMIS requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production activities and issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Physically capable of safely lifting, carrying, pulling, and handling heavy materials on a repetitive basis throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated history of reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience in a similar environment is considered an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is considered an asset.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) knowledge or certification is considered an asset.
- General knowledge of WHMIS requirements.
