THE ROLE

 

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Lead to take full ownership of IT operations across multiple sites in the Benelux region. This role is critical in ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services while acting as the key local interface between business teams and Corporate IT. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong stakeholder management to support business continuity, drive improvements, and ensure alignment with global IT standards. Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems across Benelux sites.

  • Provide high-quality, responsive IT support to local users, resolving incidents and service requests efficiently.

  • Act as the local IT Subject Matter Expert (SME), translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Enforce and promote corporate IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

  • Safeguard data security, system integrity, and compliance at all local sites.

  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency.

  • Educate and guide local teams on IT processes, tools, and cybersecurity awareness.

  • Proactively identify risks, improvement opportunities, and innovation in IT operations.

  • Support and coordinate local IT projects in line with regional and corporate objectives.

 


 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft environments (Windows Desktop & Server, Office 365).

  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).

  • Proven expertise in Windows Server administration, file and print services, and troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.

  • Highly independent and proactive, with the ability to take decisions under pressure and prioritize based on business impact.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach.

  • Proven experience in IT systems administration, on-site support, and vendor coordination.

  • Project management capability and experience working with third-party suppliers.

  • Full driving license required (regular travel between sites).

  • Good understanding of local business practices and IT trends.
