Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Northlake, IL

Pay: $26.73 - $27.23 (Per Hour)

JOB OVERVIEW: Our forklift operators have a wide range of responsibilities, which include inventory management and the safe and effective handling of material and waste accordingly.

JOB DUTIES:

Properly handle waste per company procedure

Maintain a clean warehouse, remove production trash

Verify proper labeling and inspect pallets and containers

Properly label and scan all incoming products prior to warehouse staging

Maintain warehouse storage racks and scanner system

Pull stock from the warehouse to replenish staging locations

Perform daily truck inspections

Unload production drum trailers

Load return drum trailers with used production drums

Performs shipping or receiving functions

Comply with all OSHA required activities for PIT operation
Other Duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/GED
1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in batch manufacturing
Basic computer skills
Must be able to lift 55+ lbs. and stand on feet for long periods

Ability to read and write and do simple arithmetic

Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
Working knowledge of material handling and stacking methods

Ability to work with the scanner system.

Perform Self-Safety and ASI inspections

Background and Drug Screen are mandatory if an offer is made.
