Objectives of the Position           

  1. Oversees overall supply chain operations to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
  2. Lead China supply chain team (logistics, customer service, replenishment manager) to deliver an operationally excellent, customer orientated process performance.
  3. Strategically plan and manage distribution of goods in/out of his/her respective country in alignment with regional & global functions to enhance business development, ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
  4. Ensure distribution of goods in/out of his/her respective country comply to local and international regulations. 

 

Main Tasks

 

Management:

  • Liaise and work with various stakeholders such as business and other supporting function to review and drive the improvement of operations, processes, and organization to align with business strategy.
  • Develop related KPI and monitor the overall supply chain performance
  • Proactively identifies and address barriers that decrease operational efficiency, evaluate, and suggest solution that bring positive impact to the company
  • Drive cost savings and quality improvements in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Identify or qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other functions such business, regional logistics procurement, or quality assurance for local logistics services.
  • Provides an attractive working environment to the employees and conducts human resource planning for own team.
  • Ensures that employees are trained to fulfil the assigned tasks
  • Maintains good co-operation and communication with sales team, planning team and other support functions

 

Order-to-Cash:

  • Ensure a high degree of customer focus in all OTC activities e.g. customer care, Export order management etc.
  • Provide the framework/organization structure for professional operation of customer order desk activities including export order management.
  • End-to-End OTC management with agreed service level.

 

 Logistics Operations (covering both domestics and international trade):

  • Ensure that appropriate import and export compliance procedures are followed by employees and contracted service providers.
  • To maintain standard operating procedures & guidelines on logistics handling
  • To monitor performance levels of logistics service providers by establishing key performance indicators (KPI), regular performance review to improve service quality
  • Drive / steer discussion with respective authorities with the support from relevant internal stakeholders or functions in topics relating to customs queries, import/export handlings and communicate with cross regions partner in meeting regulatory needs.
  • Provide material management support - coordination and monitoring activities
  • Proactively monitor regulatory changes, identifying risks/benefits/impact and develop procedure to ensure compliance

 

Non-Conformance Management:

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review existing and/or new order handling flow in compliant yet, efficient to the company.

 

 

DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning):

  • Execution of Push Planning --> converted to STOs, create DN and Hand Over on specifics.
  • STO/DN creation, update PO date changes and ensure SAP data updates.
  • Execution of distribution of internal demand in Source Region
  • Domestic regional warehouse management, refilling (within Warehouse network)
  • Execution of assigned procurement coordination tasks in Co-Manufacturing process        
  • Shortage – Execution on Guideline from global planner à Split on warehouse / drop shipment orders based on receiving MRP information:
    • STO / DN creation for Warehouse
    • Drop shipments SO: liaise with customer service / export order manager for DN Creation
    • Update Assignment List as per defined regional responsibility

 

MRP (Material Replenishment Planning):

  • Information to global planner on significant demand changes or other information from Sales/ Market requirements
  • Monitoring Transportation execution - STO date changes - indication to CSR on Re-ATP
  • Replenishment planning: Execution of release PuchReq to Source; Forward plan by validated Purch Requisitions
  • Consulting on Safety Stock settings (2x annual or ad-hoc) planning strategies
  • Coordinate and liaise with logistics team for Repack/ Re-Label of imported materials
  • Distribution of internal demand – regionally (inks)
  • Execution of assigned procurement coordination tasks in Co-Manufacturing process        
  • Shortage Execution on Guideline global planner:
    • Work with global planner/DRP on Split Warehouse / Drop shipment orders
    • Assignment sales orders DN Creation by CSR (independent if imported or produced material)
    • Maintain Assignment List

 

 

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

 

  • Education:  minimum Degree holder in Supply Chain
  • Working Experience: at least 5~10 years of relevant supply chain experience
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of supply chain processes is required, with in-depth understanding of the detailed processes and procedures of different order management relating to the fulfillment of customers’ orders.  SAP SD module
  • This position requires a high level of administrative, organization and co-ordination skills in overall supply chain management.
