Senior Application Chemist

Job Responsibilities

1) Planning of efficient lab job scheduler and procedures.
2) Carry out qualified result for market support, tech service tasks. Seek for solutions by experience or creative way.
3) Technical Service: Test and benchmark customer samples, supplier or competitor products. Test given grades in guiding formulations, adjust guiding formulations to customer specific needs and requirements.4) Technical Service: Prepare promotion materials for sales and technical marketing.
5) Communicate frequently with TS manager- TSR job update and seek for feedback. Contact with TSR requestors for TSR related information collecting.
6) Ensure consistent and good quality of work and documentation. Align test method and data interpretation.
7) Efficient and effective utilization of laboratory assets and resource. Contact with regional other technical lab for equipment resource sharing.
8) State of art know-how of formulations and applications in assigned area.
9) Ensure compliance with company EHS requirements and implement 5S.

Qualifications Required

-Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related major

-At least 6 years working experience in coating company, prefer to have pigment experience.

-Knowledge of related chemistry. Understanding of the market’s needs with regards to products and innovation in which the business is active.

-English in written and spoken

-Operate Microsoft Office
