Deputy Financial Controller

The Deputy Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of our Benda-Lutz site. This includes ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards, managing financial reporting, budgeting, and investment planning, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads
• Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies; maintain strong internal controls
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions and improve performance
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests
• Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor cost structures to improve profitability

Your Profile

• Educated to university level in a financial discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance, Control and Payroll position within a manufacturing environment
• Documented ongoing financial training
• Proven experience using SAP
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
• Fluent in Polish and English
• Knowledge of other systems such as Success Factors, Horizon, Ariba, Fiori, would also be beneficial to the role
• A valid driving licence would also be beneficial but not essential
