POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The ISO Coordinator will be responsible for the quality management system and oversee all internal auditing. Will complete audits, prepare audit reports, manage controlled documents, and complete document change orders upon request from our facility. This role covers the Kankakee, Northlake and St. Charles, IL facilities.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Implement and update Quality Management documents as needed. Approve all document changes in System. 
• Perform Quality Management System Audits.  Monitor all internal and external audits for facilities.
• Lead process of investigating Action/Preventable Action items from open to close.
• Ensure the Sun Chemical Quality System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Standard
• Schedule and lead quarterly management review meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• An Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred, but we are open to candidates with 3+ years of experience in the quality field, especially those with experience in an ISO 9001 working environment
• In-depth understanding and proficiency with ISO 9001 standards
• Experience as an Internal Auditor for Quality Management Systems, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively liaise with all levels of facility personnel, customers, and suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Initiative, independence, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• ISO Coordinator is required to complete ISO Software training and attend a 5 Day Lead Assessor Course
