The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Tax & Finance team based in the Weesp, Netherlands.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for the financial reporting and tax assignments (projects) for the region’s tax team, taking care of statutory and tax compliance, and supporting the tax manager and director in research and compliance activities, transfer pricing compliance, and audits.

The Financial Reporting Specialist will be the primary contact for internal and external auditors, as well as coordinating with shared service centre colleagues.

• Producing high-quality financial reports and calculations
• Producing high-quality financial statements
• Supporting with the completion of CIT and VAT compliance
• Completing the analysis of key factors driving the results of TP compliance reports
• Supporting financial controllers in the region in handling tax audit and transfer pricing issues
• Managing and participating in special year-end and ad-hoc tax projects, restructurings and acquisitions

This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of 3 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) in the office.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting and financial control, and/or audit or fiscal economics
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in financial reporting, financial control and/or audit
• Experience working in an international team / environment
• Demonstrable experience delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent communication skills on all levels, well-organized, team player, ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong English language skills, advanced level of in Excel and Power Point
